Jake chuckled and flopped onto the mattress to stare at the ceiling while Dirk showered, and wound up dozing for a bit again when he took so long. When the door to the bathroom opened he sat back up and grinned.

"Your hair is a right piece of art," he explained as Dirk took off his cap.
