"I did a little bit of research," Jake offered after a while, not entirely ignoring but not quite acknowledging Dirk's words, either. "Seems like the proper term for someone like myself is 'asexual', and it's not likely something that's going to change." He shrugged his shoulders a little. "I just don't want you to feel like you're settling for someone who can't make you happy, I guess."
