He quieted pretty quickly, just leaning there against Dirk and enjoying the company. He shouldn't have avoided him for this long. Granted a lot of it was personal soul-searching, trying to figure out if he was really just not interested, if it was something he could change. Reading a lot of articles on a lot of websites on his phone. A handful of hours spent staring at the lock screen on his phone and wishing things were still simple.
