He loved it when Dirk was affectionate like this. He was sort of like a cat under most circumstances-- if he came to you with affection you'd best reciprocate, but don't initiate or he might be unhappy. Of course, Jake got away with a lot. He smiled and got to his feet with Dirk's help, shrugging.
"Someone whose boyfriend forgets to eat while he's at work if there isn't something readily available," he explained.
