Of course. Jake wouldn't blame him-- selfish as he could be at times, he never meant it. If he was aware of someone being upset, even if it was over something valid, something he should share the anger over... He never was. He forgave, and he overlooked, and Dirk wanted to cry and scream and throw a complete and utter tantrum, and tell him no, that he wouldn't listen, he would blame himself because it was his fault, but all the fight just went out of him and he wound up slumped against Jake's shoulder, forehead to his skin.
