He did remember that snoring. Thankfully, he'd gotten used to it during their time in the medium, and it was farther away this time. It helped that he was exhausted by the time he actually decided to try and sleep. So when the snoring petered off into deeper sleep, the lack of sound had probably actually been what woke him.

When Jake woke up and spoke to the poster, he chortled from his corner of the room and shook his head.

"At least some things never change," he said lightly, continuing with his tinkering.
