[Jake leans forward and pokes him lightly in the chest.]

[He let's that settle before he reclines back.]

Say we take you out of the picture, where does that leave me? A hired hitman who kills for a living. Really, is that so much different than what a mob boss does? I may have had some notions of morality, but in the end its all the same.

[He pauses. He sort of knows where he's going with this, but wording it is suddenly hard.]

There's purpose now. A reason. My actions no longer feel mindless.
