The spinning made him tense his shoulders, and the hand on Jake's shoulder blades fisted itself into the fabric of his shirt apprehensively, but he smiled a bit again when the islander put him down. In the meantime, Dave finally wandered back into the apartment, inclining his head toward them in greeting before disappearing down the hall.
