This is a generic Jakepost to reply to. Because the meme post was all Jake and has some inconceivable amount of comments now so it doesn't like to load. Have at, my lovelies.

Jake grumbled again, and Jade waved off Dirk's thanks with a smile before she left the room again. The warmth of the coffee was lifting Jake's mood a little but he was still quiet and listless.

"Guess so," Jake offered thinly, pushing his mug onto the bedside table across Dirk and leaning into him. "Sorry."

"You worried me, in class," he breathed. "I haven't been that scared in years." He wasn't really meaning to talk, words were just sort of happening.

"Mmngh. I know you didn't," he pressed his face into Dirk's hand. Despite the fact that he was cold, his face felt hot and Dirk's hand was pleasantly cool. "'n I'm sorry I turned around and caught your sick. I'm an awful patient."

"I'm comfy," he whined, leaning into Dirk's forehead. Gosh, that was nice.

He huffed softly, but pecked him back.

"Shouldn't," he said. "'s probably how we transferred the sick between us anyway. Don't wanna get you a repeat." But God he wasn't really fighting back. Dirk was just so warm, and pleasant, and inviting.

"Oh," Jake offered smartly, color rising to his blanched cheeks.

"I'm just tired," he offered mutedly. He didn't actually feel sick to his stomach, for once.

"Mmh," Jake offered, turning sideways and burying his face in Dirk's arm. "I didn't want to inconvenience anybody." He wasn't really entirely consciously nattering.

He sort of grumbled softly as he drifted off, going limp against Dirk's shoulder and snoring very quietly.
