"Shh," Jake intoned, rolling onto his side to displace Dirk's hand. One of his own slid back to the Strider's thigh, though, since he seemed interested. He quirked an eyebrow. "...come here, sit."

He slid backward and sat on his knees on the floor in front of the bed, beckoning.
